What You Will Work On
This is a real product internship. You will work directly on ai-dm’s platform integrations across live data sources and third-party APIs.
REST API and API Integration Work
- Building and testing REST API calls using Postman or equivalent tools
- Integrating third-party APIs into ai-dm’s data pipeline, including OAuth 2.0 authentication flows
- Working with JSON request/response structures, HTTP headers, and status codes
- Supporting existing integrations — Meta/Facebook Ads API and Google Search Console API
- Writing clean API documentation for internal use
- Debugging integration errors and handling API rate limits and error responses
- Understanding webhook flows and callback mechanisms (Make.com and similar automation tools)
Skills Required
Must Have
- Understanding of REST API concepts — GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, authentication (API keys, OAuth 2.0), JSON
- Basic working knowledge of any one language: Python, Node.js, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with Postman or any API testing tool
- Ability to read and understand API documentation independently
Good to Have
- Exposure to any SaaS platform or cloud-based product
- Basic understanding of webhooks and async API flows
- Familiarity with Git / version control
